Solar City Tour 1. City Impressions (half day tour)

Time: 9:00-11:30 of Sep 14, 15

This tour will show you around the urban area of Dezhou. The delegates participating in this tour will get whole impressions of Dezhou by touring both the scenic areas and some model companies. The tour includes New Lake Park, Jinxiuchuan Scenic Area, Changhe Park, Dongzi Study Platform, Jianhe River wet land landscape, Himin Solar Valley and Braised Chicken Cultural Hall.    

Solar City Tour 2.  Renewable Energy Companies (half day tour)

Time: 14:00-17:00 of Sep 14, 15

This tour will take you to visit several big companies in Dezhou related to renewable energies: Himin Group, Bright Air-conditioning Co., Ltd., Jupiter Wind Composites Co., Ltd., Zhongli New Energy Science Co., Ltd. and Century Wind Energy Equipment Co., Ltd..

In Himin Group, you will see the first fully-automatic vacuum tube product line in the world. In Bright, you will see different series of central air-conditioners equipments from various water chillers, fan coil units to condensing units. In Jupiter, you will see different wind power installation. In Zhongli, you will see advanced RTBG and its advanced production line. In Century Enery, the gigantic blades of 1.5MW with the length of 40.3 meters will be a shock to the visitors.

On the way to the companies, of course, participants in this excursion will have chance to tour the residential communities. You will also see the project site of "One million solar roofs" and "solar bathrooms in thousand villages". Almost all downtown residential buildings have solar water heaters on their roofs ---a marvelous and impressive view of one million solar roofs as a proof of Dezhou’s dedication towards being a world solar city indeed. You will see several PV lighting roads and know about the situation that our city develops solar energy, low-carbon economy, new material and new energy.

Solar City Tour 3. Dezhou Night View

The night view of Dezhou is really brilliant under the shining of solar-powered lamps. This evening tour will take you to China Solar Valley, Jianhe River wet land landscape, Dongzi Study Platform, Solar Utopia Garden, the Citizen Square of Changhe Park, New Lake Park, and Jinxiuchuan Scenic Area. One section of the tour near Dongzi Study Platform is to take a boat on the Shawang River and enjoy the fountain screen movie.

The daytime tours include these Scenic Areas:

1. New Lake Park

The New Lake Park, which lies in the center of the city, has 5 lakes and 3 squares connected with each other. Having such a green area, combined with lakes is a unique way to prevent the “urban heat island effect” in large cities. It lowers down the temperature of the city dramatically in summer time. In order to give the citizens a completely relaxing space, no vehicles or motorcycles is allowed to enter the park. It is an effective and pleasant way of green city planning to set up such a large park (130 hectares) in the business district.
