Light Cube to be finished in July
According to information from 4th Solar Cities Congress Organization Committee, the Light Cube which will serve as one of the Congress venues, will be finished by July this year. It will then become the world's largest energy-saving technology exhibition hall. The design of the venue resembles that of 2008 Olympic Games venue----- Water cube, from which designers got inspiration.
It is reported venues of the 4th Solar Cities Congress comprise of Solar Valley International Conference Center, Micro-emission Mansion, Light Cube and International Park Hotel, etc. At present, Micro-emission Mansion has been put into use, saving energy as high as 88% by combining solar hot water supplying, solar heating, cooling and grid-connected PV power generation. Solar Valley International Conference Center will be the largest venue for the conference, with a reception capacity of 5,000.
