Huang Ming

Huang Ming is the vice president of International Solar Energy Society, deputy to 10th and 11th NPC, vice president of Chinese Association of Renewable Energy, and board chairman of Himin Solar Co., Ltd. Himin has inspired the Chinese solar market and achieved the commercialization of solar products through innovative ideas and technology, not only giving impetus to the booming and promising Chinese solar industry, but setting the trend for the global renewable energy business. Huang Ming proposed the Renewable Energy Law of People¡¯s Republic of China which came into effect on January 1, 2006, and laid a legal foundation for China¡¯s strategy for dealing with the energy crisis.
Huang Ming was twice invited to speak at the UN Conference on Sustainable Development, and to share with the world the Himin model of solar industry development, which is of benefit to the global solar industry and its commercialization and independence from the governmental subsidiaries. In Dec. 2009, Huang Ming was invited to Copenhagen climate conference as the vice president of ISES and one of Chinese business leaders.
