Roberto Pagani

Full Professor of Architectural Technology and vice-Dean at Politecnico di Torino. He is an independent expert of various Italian and European institutions. With his research company, Softech Total Environmental Action Ltd., he co-ordinates the RESET Project “Renewable Energy Strategies for European Towns”, among the cities of A.M.Barcelona, Glasgow, Grand Lyon, Torino e St.Petersburg (1994-1997). In 1996, the network includes Rotterdam, Copenhagen, Porto and Dublin for an European demonstration program: RESTART Project. Between 1996 and 2002 he is the scientific co-ordinator of the Urban Pilot Project of Torino: “The Gate: living not leaving”, for the urban district of Porta Palazzo. Starting from 2006, he coordinates a new research and demonstration project in the framework of the European CONCERTO II Program (Concerto AL Piano). In 2007, in China, he is acknowledged as Academic Advisor of the Jiangsu Institute of Urban Planning and Design, based in Nanjing.
